Eileen Brown

Eileen has been working in the technology industry for over 17 years in a variety of technical support,  consultancy and management roles. 

She is an accomplished and well known international speaker who regularly presents on subjects as diverse as Social Media, Online Branding, Web 2.0, Unified Communications, Systems Architecture and she is a passionate advocate for the advancement of Women in Technology. 

She helps companies extend their social media reach, engage with their customers using Web 2.0 technologies, identify their influencers and gain advocates for their brand.  She works with you to improve perception about your brand and create a vibrant community, use social media to amplify your presence and improve the quality of your connection to your customers to increase satisfaction.

John de Lara

John is our strategic consultant who has many years experience of working with Enterprise customers and teams.

John will work with you to understand the business challenges you have, he will help you to develop a customised strategy so that you can maximize your infrastructure investment, grow your business using social media and bring the business benefits of flexibility and mobility to your workplace.

Karen Martin

Karen is a member of the American Board of Neuro Linguistic Programming and is a Certified Practitioner of NLP, TimeLine Therapy and Hypnosis.  She has worked in Industry for many years and specializes in 1:1 life coaching, mentoring and facilitates small group workshops.

 We make our choices and we are responsible for our state at any given time. Learn to get the best out of yourself and others; life, love, family and of course, work.   How would you feel, how would it look and how would it sound to be in on the cause side of the equation, totally confident and motivated to be as excellent as you can be, Now.   Our workshops allow exchange of ideas, challenge the ‘norms’, engage in conversations with your peers that will leave you enlightened and above all else – empowered.

Claire Ambler    

 

Claire is an experienced events and logistics manager with over 20 years experience in Event Management predominantly for the IT industry.  Her time has been spent project managing and co-coordinating conference and seminar programmes, major launch events, exhibitions and managing Corporate Hospitality and PR for various organisations. 

She has also been responsible for VIP visits with Microsoft UK and Microsoft Corp in the States, and spent 8 years in the Microsoft Events Team. She has a wealth of experience working with large budgets to tight deadlines and running a variety of events both internal and external for  clients.

 Jackie Rush

 

Jackie is an experienced events and logistics manager who spent 5 years project managing and co-ordinating seminar programs, exhibitions and corporate hospitality events within the Reseller Sales department of Microsoft Ltd, and has spent the last 15 years as an independent freelance Event Logistics Manager.

As the focal point for the client in portraying a corporate and professional image, Jackie has has worked on a wide variety of events – roadshows, exhibitions, sporting events, financial roadshows – far too many to list!! 

Karen Griffin

Karen is a highly motivated individual who is passionate about working with people to help them achieve their potential.  Karen has over 20 years’ experience in the Training & Development field that includes:  the design and delivery of training, managing training departments, coaching senior managers within organisations, and working as a guest lecturer on the Courses for Adults programme at City University in London.  Karen’s training expertise lies in: presentation skills; communication skills; management skills and coaching.

 She has worked with Blue Chip companies and SME’s including work in the IT, Travel, and Finance sectors.  Karen has experience of a diverse range of organisational cultures and brings flexibility, drive, resilience, and extensive management experience to her training and coaching work.  She has worked at a senior level within organisations and has experience of managing large teams.  

Karen Whittaker

Karen has been responsible for devising the strategic and tactical marketing plans for a number of technology companies in the UK and integrating and aligning them with European and worldwide strategies. She is a flexible, goal-orientated marketing management professional with expertise encompassing the full marketing mix. She has a strong focus on business efficiency and measurable revenue generating activities.

Karen spent time in a Cambridge based management consultancy and has been involved in the IT industry for over 11 years with positions in software and hardware vendors as well as professional services companies.
Karen holds a Masters Degree in Management - with a Marketing major and has held a variety of senior level positions in pan-European and global organisations.

Nadia Cenci

 Nadia is a qualified confidence and performance coach and licensed NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in management and training.
Nadia helps individuals and teams to reach their full potential, achieve more, feel confident and great about themselves and to look forward to their next challenge with renewed vigour.

 

Hilary and Steve

These are the unsung heroes who keep the business running in the back office at Amastra, taking all of our phone calls, managing and organising our diaries, answering emails, sending out the newsletter and generally making sure everything runs smoothly for us.
